Pinewood Enterprises, Inc., is a general and engineering contracting company, which was established in Monroe County in 1980. Our company has been involved in all phases of construction, both commercial and residential, new construction to renovations. Pinewood Enterprises Inc. has been able to continue to be a leading provider to the Lower Keys community for its construction needs by building on its strong foundation of providing a quality product with customer relations a priority. As we enter into our third decade of building custom homes in the Lower Florida Keys, the second-generation of builders, our son, also a licensed general contractor is working hand in hand in the company
providing innovative ideas, emphasis on green building techniques and integrating the newest technologies available. As technology is integrated into our homes, it allows homeowners to fuse today's need to be able to communicate while meeting the needs of home security as well.
Pinewood Enterprises, Inc. helped maintain its growth by expansion into the on-site wastewater treatment plants and heavy equipment rentals; a division which was later sold. We continue to be an excellent source and reference on how wastewater issues effect individual home construction in the Keys. As well, we continue to focus on construction of premier residences and renovations. Our office staff is knowledgeable about the current issues facing construction in the Florida Keys and available to answer questions pertaining to many issues.
In 2005, with the continued frenzy in the housing market, especially in key destination areas such as the Keys, our principal, Brooks Thommes, obtained his Florida Real Estate Sales license and continues to be active in the sales and marketing of real estate in the area. His background in construction and construction issues and techniques is invaluable to a potential home purchaser as well as those wishing to sell their homes.
